gig in the morning, really terrible feeling there. 8am start, 9:30 first mass, 11:30 second mass. everything great unil 7:55 when belle inda showed up and started acting really weird. i am not used to sitting so close to so much hate directed entirely at me.
the cool thing was that theodore figured out the runes from the hobbit. he was very invested in doing it entirely by deciphering, and not by looking up the words and just plugging them in from the text. he made educated guesses, and he finished it all on his own.

i'm very proud of his patience. i did that when i was 12, and it took me 3 days. now that i'm an adult i notice quite a bit of inconsistencies in tolkien's runes and enciphering which make it much harder to decipher. i wonder how many of those are on purpose.
