and then, because it was earlier than it looks in these pictures, brian and i went off contra dancing, aaaall the way to GREENFIELD, the mecca of all new england contra dances, which was just ....... aaaaah! so fun! it was a contra dance for experts, which meant they called all kinds of complex dances that one normally wouldn't call, because everyone would get too mixed up. brian danced in the so called "chaos" line, where people switch roles randomly, sometimes there are 3 or 4 people to a "couple" and all kinds of other stuff like that.  :)
