a quick moment in a rocking chair reading "Green Mansions" ... this was at 3am, and i couldn't sleep. the kids were up at 7, i had fallen asleep sitting up, on the very last chapter, which i finished before they left for kindergarten. The top of the picture is a giant beam that runs through the middle of our kitchen and many people hit their heads on, which hurts like ouch.
after kindergarten* we took care of 4 kids from outside our family, all in our yard while the electrician worked on finishing the basement. that's 6 total, in case you're keeping track, since Theodore is still on the sommeralm.
*in german kindergarten is often abbreviated to kiga.
