Friday morning is date morning (16/365g)

Brian had the day off, as he has many Fridays. We used the morning to go out to a cafe, and try to committee-write my "Toast to the Laddies" for the upcoming Burns night supper. I'll have to do it on my own. We also ran silly errands, including picking up my coffee machine.

After lunch, I went to Theodore and Henry's Quartet rehearsal, where I played the viola to fill in for one of them. It's so fun to play music with them.

Then we finally had a nice little movie night with the Försters. I made pizzas, and the adults hung out in the kitchen while they watched the German version of the Court Jester.

Ended the day with a late-night meetup with Katja and Pauli at Cafe Harrach which was also way to loud to have a normal conversation. Why do people like those places? I want to know!

In any event, it was the cheapest night out I've had in a long time. 2 euros including tip, for a small glass of soda water.
