There was a spontaneous invitation from Maria per sms to have coffee and traditional spanish cake for three kings day. When I got there she was with a friend, Luis, who spoke next to no german. Maria speaks next to no english, and I speak next to no spanish. So the discussion was entertainingly triangulated.

Theodore went to practice organ, but henry said he would later.... he didn't, it was always too cold. so much for the movie yesterday convincing people not to make constant excuses.
I did some composing and lots of paint scraping. in the middle, a guy from chili came and bought our old technics piano, now that we have a newer yamaha with wooden keys. we gave it to him for quite a small price.
we watched a documentary that rainer had sent me several years ago. i found it facinating then and now. 2/3 kids fell asleep. one did not want his photo taken. i won't say who.
theodore and i made recordings for ysop to practice corelli with, which took waaaay longer than i wanted it to - for 10 minutes of music almost an hour of recording and cutting. ugg. i hope the files get used.
hard to get to bed in time on this last day of vacation before school starts tomorrow.
