between rehearsals we tried out klaus' mozart costume (for our next video) and used it to advertise our concerts at the castle in the coming weeks.

so far we've kept up with our two rehearsals a day... early mornings late nights, what more could musicans ask for?

first day away (86/365c)

our day essentially broke down into two sections... 

music

and food

we started the day with some yoga and ended it with some wine. there was lots and lots of giggling in between.

off to weisensee again (85/365c)

as a passenger in the back seat

zeugnis day - woke up too late for gottesdienst but picked the kids up at school and past the farmers market on a nice slow walk home. then off with me to weissensee where i'll spend the next week with my quintet.

stingdependence day (84/365c)

we picked up henry from downtown today, where his class was presenting their jungle boxes to the public.

henry's friend finn is changing schools now, but they had one last project together.

it's july fourth and true patriots the world over are watching 1776, but i was completely sting-absorbed this evening. pre-concert at the wine tasting he walked in for 1 minute for a photo shoot with important city people (we were playing "every little thing she does is magic"") and then he walked right back out --- too bad, i was quite disappointed. post concert i got a box of roxanne wine to take home in a wooden box. barbara and i were quite music high.

mostly lost day (83/365c)

we met felix's new piano teacher today. she recommended new books. felix liked her.

brian helped me film a very short cell phone video of me playing then fainting to illustrate how it would be if sting walked in.... it made me laugh. my quintet's facebook page hit 1000 followers today too.

after henry and i took felix to chorus (there was even ice cream for felix) we hung out with the foersters for a bit.

the secret to life (82/365c)

plumber was here to install the new faucet upstairs for us, and a hot water heater that doesn't leak when it heats up. the work was done quickly and efficiently, and i painted the wall during their break. i also painted over the discoloration over the stove. as soon as the paint dried it was discolored again. i gave it another coat. same thing. i am starting to think i can't do anything right at all.

it's the last week of school and tasks are piling up and i feel like i can't keep everything up, but life churns on.

i think the ultimate secret to life must be that it is NOW.
