philosophical question for the lack of today (118/365c)
if i don't write, take any photos, and make no entries on the calendar, then did the day really happen?

learning to be an adult (117/365c)
met way early in the morning to talk to the lady responsible for maybe removing the vines that are growing on the reisingerhouse. i am such an adult! (a few days ago, i was in the bathtub and heard some people cutting hedges in the apartment house behind us. i waffled back and forth whether i should dare to talk to them. i finally did, and the workers could not just cut the vines like i wanted, but they gave me the number of the specific person responsible.)
met with irmtraud and made a wikipedia page for grazer salonorchester, which promptly got tagged for deletion. i am determined to spend the next 7 days fighting for the page. (edited to add: it worked! it's there now!)

picnic in the park and missing the museum (115/365c)
olena also had her birthday picnic in the park, and she got there too late for her own picnic, so some people had to already leave. we missed manuela who was there earlier. and centa came but didn't stay. we that stayed had a good time - first thing we did was get the boomerang stuck in a tree. then a bunch of menfolk made a big bruhhahaha about getting it back out. they did it right before we left, just in time to miss the schloss eggenberg exhibitions because we got there too late. oops

boring tight-rope walkers(114/365c)
raining / pouring / sunshine on-again off-again.
Saw lots of la strada today, the kids show nearly got cancelled half way through because it started to rain, and the actor playing the king shouted out to everyone "panic my people, panic! there's a rain storm!"
and including some more adult-oriented things i invited barbara to. (modern dance women on stilts for example) ... she and jure came for the last event (and today is the last day) and left half-way through because they were unimpressed by a (what i thought was very impressive) tight-rope-walking show. to be fair they had just seen a show by P!nk, so maybe that colored their mind. I wanted edward and centa to come too, but they both had too much thesis work to do. i got back, and edward said he hadn't eaten all day so i made some quick bread. I know i took pictures today too, but I really can't find them anywhere.

welcome olena (113/365c)
celebrated officially welcoming olena into our group, had a (not too early) breakfast at the holzer on weissensee. she was over the moon!
it was the kids last day of their summer class stuff (football and fencing) and brian also took them to the "coding dojo" from which i picked felix up 15 minutes early. he didn't seem to be able to decide whether he wanted to stay or go.
edward was also not quite sure what his plans were, but at some point we heard that he was arriving at 10:30 at the bahnhof. Brian ran to pick him up. Yay for family visits!

last of the four dinner and music concerts (112/365c)
today was the last dinner and music, and that was totally the most stressful one, with the most new music (to me), but it went the best, and i was in the best mood and felt amazing. i was completely awake the whole evening, and dinner was just unbelievable. the gnocci i got (i don't even like gnocci!) were so good that everyone who tried it wanted the whole plate.
i swear i took pictures but i can't find them anywhere.
